Hi everyone, today I will share with you an experience that I tried for the first time.
This time, we prepared a podcast in our educational technology lesson. We had four choices: creating a vox-pop, improving the world, creating a chant/song, a sound-rich story.
We chose a sound-rich story option. We chose at least 5 words from the given words and prepared a ninety-second story. Our story was as follows: His mother is preparing a surprise birthday party for his child, and while the party is going well, gunshots come from the street. We had to use at least 10 sound effects throughout this story.
We used sound effects such as gunshots, police car and ambulance sounds, children's sounds, the sound of a gift cat. We used Youtube while using sound effects. While recording the sound, we used the Vocaroo site. We recorded the sound and uploaded it to the site. We shared the link with our teacher. I can't say I had as much fun with this experience as the others because we had to be careful while recording it. We chose a quiet area so that the surrounding sounds do not come. We had to play the sound effects on time, so we got a little nervous. :) Despite this, we were happy to realize that we did a good job when it was finished. We have successfully completed this task.
