Hello everyone! Today, I will tell you about the task that I prepared with my partner Öykü Yıldız (you can check her blog from here) for our lesson at school. In this task, we had to prepare an AI-integrated material. Artificial intelligence is the intelligence of machines or software, as opposed to the intelligence of humans or other animals. It is a field of study in computer science that develops and studies intelligent machines. The material had to consist of three tasks. These are: pre, target and post task.
We chose simple present tense as the subject. First, we asked students to think about our daily activities or habits and write sentences with correct grammar about them. Then we asked them to send this text to ChatGpt, an artificial intelligence. ChatGpt would give them feedback about their writings. According to this feedback, students would see their mistakes and rewrite their writings. Finally, they also had to give feedback to ChatGpt. Was the use of artificial intelligence useful for them? Would they use it again? Could they realize their mistakes? They would prepare a feedback by answering such questions.
In this assignment, we drew attention to artificial intelligence, which is the inevitable assistant of our new world. We realized that thanks to artificial intelligence, we can get answers to many of our questions and learn many things. I will leave the pages of the material we prepared below.
